With the mod on it goes on average 34fps and doesn't look laggy but it is very "floaty" and delayed. It doesn't matter whether the settings are ultra low or high.
Some games depend entirely on the framerate to run. Physics, sound, Anti aliasing, screen space effects, motion blur. Some games have all this tied to each frame and simplly doubling the fps cap would break the game. I dont think i've seen a 60 fps mod specific to AoC yet, but wait some weeks and lets see.
